HAL-SHS (Hyper Article en Ligne - Sciences de l'Homme et de la Société) is an open archive maintained by the Institute of Human Sciences in Lyon and the University Rennes-2. The attempt of this initiative is to collect and spread French-speaking scholarly output in the Human Sciences for free. Authors can submit their research as long as they hold the intellectual property rights over their work. Postprints, preprints and other texts about to be published as well as working papers are eligible to be included in this archive. Searches can be made through several criteria such as collections, disciplines, date of publication and type of publication (journals articles, books chapters, conference proceedings, theses, working papers and reports, etc).
